![]() Wood Blocks can be upgraded to Cobblestone Blocks with 10 Cobblestone Rocks. Rebar frames go straight to reinforced concrete. Flagstone has the same upgrade path and its usually what I start with on my bases as it is stronger than wood. So wood has 1 wood upgrade then goes to cobblestone, concrete, reinforced concrete, then steel. It is also possible to use Wood Blocks as a source of Combustible fuel. Once it gets past a certain point the strongest blocks are upgraded to forged steel. Some examples include: the standard cube, ramps, stairs, posts, and partial blocks. There are a huge number of different shaped blocks available. This will bring up the Shapes interface for selecting which block will be placed. The upside is upgrading from Wood or Cobble to Concrete is now faster since you dont have to hang around in the Chunk to wait for the Concrete to dry. To change the shape that is being placed put the Wood Shapes in your hotbar, select them so you are holding them in your hand, hold R, and then select the shapes menu. Wood is an early game material that is found in abundance. They are upgraded from Wood Frames and can be upgraded into Cobblestone Blocks. Wood Blocks are a craftable building material that is somewhat durable.
